Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. About this policy

marineflowAI is a brand owned and operated by SimpliMar Pte Ltd (Company Reg: 202424117H) (“marineflowAI”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA).

It applies to personal data we receive through this website and when you contact us by email. We apply it to all personal data we handle, including business contact details.

2. Personal data we collect

This website has no contact form, sign-up or customer account. We collect personal data in two ways:

  • When you email us. We receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, job title, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message and any attachments.
  • When you visit the website. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.

Please do not send us sensitive personal data (for example, NRIC numbers, health or financial information) unless we have asked for it for a specific purpose.

3. Why we use your personal data

We collect, use and disclose personal data only for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you;
  • to arrange and hold a demonstration or meeting;
  • to prepare an assessment, proposal or quotation you have asked for;
  • to deliver and manage services under an agreement with you or your organisation;
  • to operate, maintain and secure this website; and
  • to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We will not use your personal data for a new purpose without first telling you and getting your consent, unless the PDPA or another law allows us to do so.

Contacting us does not add you to a marketing list. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and we will respect the Do Not Call Registry where it applies.

4. Consent

By emailing us, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing the personal data you provide for the purposes in section 3. If you give us personal data about another person (for example, a colleague), please make sure you have their consent to do so.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 11).

5. Who we share personal data with

We do not sell personal data. We only disclose it to:

  • service providers that handle data on our behalf, such as our website hosting and email providers, under terms that require them to protect it;
  • our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed; and
  • government or regulatory authorities, where the law requires or allows it.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Singapore. This website is hosted by Vercel, whose infrastructure may be located outside Singapore.

When personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, as required by the PDPA and the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2021. We do this through contractual safeguards with the recipient or by relying on the recipient’s recognised certifications.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website remembers whether you chose the Light or Dark theme, using your browser’s local storage. This setting stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

The website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics scripts. If this changes, we will update this policy first.

8. How we protect personal data

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, and against loss of storage media. These include access controls on our email accounts, multi-factor authentication and encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this website.

If a data breach occurs that is notifiable under the PDPA, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals as the PDPA requires.

9. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required for legal or business reasons. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

As a guide, we keep enquiries that do not lead to an engagement for up to 12 months from our last contact. We keep records relating to client engagements for as long as required by law, for example accounting and tax records.

10. Keeping your data accurate

We rely on you to give us accurate and complete information. Please let us know if your details change.

11. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you, and ask how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
  • Correct any error or omission in your personal data; and
  • Withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data, by giving us reasonable notice.

You can also ask us to delete personal data we no longer need.

To make a request, email our Data Protection Officer at info@marineflowai.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot respond to an access or correction request within 30 days, we will tell you in writing within those 30 days when we expect to respond.

We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request. If we do, we will give you a written estimate of the fee before processing your request.

If you withdraw consent, we will tell you of any likely consequences, for example that we may no longer be able to respond to your enquiry or provide services. Withdrawing consent does not affect our right to keep and use data where the law requires or allows us to.

12. Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee how we handle personal data. You can contact them at:

Data Protection Officer, SimpliMar Pte Ltd
60 Paya Lebar Road #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051
Email: info@marineflowai.com (subject: “Attention: Data Protection Officer”)

13. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission at www.pdpc.gov.sg.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the law or our services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Please also read our Terms of Use.
